The Town of Bassendean is looking for a leader to drive transformation and foster our new way of working!
The Town of Bassendean is undergoing changes with a bigger focus on governance, placemaking, infrastructure and the community. We are looking for a Recycling & Waste Coordinator to support these changes and thrive in a high performing team.

This position is responsible for promoting, engaging and educating the residential and commercial community within the Town on recycling and waste services; and actively contributing to achieving significant sustainability outcomes that reflect priorities identified in the Town’s Strategic Community Plan and Council’s aspirations.
The successful candidate will bring appropriate qualifications and industry experience, experience in management and exceptional communication and people skills. Strategic and analytical thinking will be critical to the success in this role.
On offer is a permanent full-time contract (76 hours per fortnight).
Salary Package from $115,000 per annum to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
The Town offers up to 5% additional superannuation (conditions apply), flexible working hours, free parking, ongoing training and personal development, and two additional holiday days per calendar year.
