ABOUT THE ROLE:

An opportunity has presented itself within the Social Planning team at Bass Coast Shire Council. This is a full-time permanent role that will lead a team responsible for achieving outcomes identified in Council Plans related to social planning, youth & early years and aged & disability services.

As an inspiring Leader you will be able to identify and respond to current and future community needs with an innovative approach. You will make positive contributions to relevant strategies in social planning and foster mutually beneficial working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and in community. You’ll identify opportunities to source new funding and develop submissions that will improve community health and wellbeing across Bass Coast.

TO BE A SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

We are looking for an influential people leader to take on this essential role for the Bass Coast community. You’ll have experience in the development of social planning policy, plans and frameworks and you’ll possess a tertiary qualification in community development, health promotion, public policy, or a related field relevant to social planning.

You’ll have demonstrated experience working with community and advocacy groups building strong sustainable connections along with an ability to lead projects and coordinate resources to achieve outcomes.
