About the role:

A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Injury Management Lead to join the Safety and Wellbeing team on a permanent full-time basis. This exciting opportunity will see you leading the BaptistCare injury management program in supporting injured workers to recover at work.

Reporting to the Head of Safety and Wellbeing, you will establish strong working relationships with our insurer, rehabilitation providers, and other external stakeholders to ensure BaptistCare’s interests are prioritised. Your ability to be organised amid multiple competing priorities will hold you in good stead as you manage a case load and seek to deliver optimal return-to-work outcomes.

You will also support a small team in overseeing the internal processing of Workers Compensation claims, and work closely with other internal stakeholders, identifying gaps in efficiency and developing strategies to deliver improved performance. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to monitor the claims portfolio performance through a range of injury management and Workers Compensation metrics.

About you:

To be considered, you will have:

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Allied Health such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, or other related field
  • Experience with a large employer as an Injury Management Consultant or Rehabilitation Provider
  • A background in case management, and demonstrated experience managing a large portfolio of claims
  • Experience within the aged care or disability sector
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to various locations across NSW & ACT
  • Genuine alignment to BaptistCare’s Vision, Mission and Purpose
