About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising & HopeStreet Marketing, you will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies that will grow the income from individual donors through various channels, such as cash appeals, regular giving, and the mid value program.

Using data insights to understand what drives and inspires individual donors, you will report on how their donations make a difference and guarantee a satisfying and rewarding experience, by conveying effective and engaging campaigns that align with the organisation's vision and mission.

About you:

To be considered, you will have:

  • An undergraduate qualification, or an equivalent, alternative combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing and implementing individual giving fundraising strategies and campaigns.
  • Proven track record of achieving income and donor retention targets, including through Cash Appeal, Regular Giving, and Mid Value Programs.
  • Proven skills in producing compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of channels, including direct mail, email, social media, and web.
  • Experience in managing and analysing data, using CRM systems and segmentation tools such as ThankQ, Raisely and Mailchimp.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team, with a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • A commitment to our mission and values, and a genuine interest in the issues we work on.
  • Excellent communication skills, including expertise in Donor-Centric fundraising language and principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A current driver’s licence and commitment to occasional travel.
