About Our Personal Care Workers

You are the heart and soul of our organisation, delivering our mission by partnering with members of our community to support their fullness of life. Our Personal Care Workers work in the community to support our elderly customers with personal care, cleaning, shopping and companionship. 

About You

We are currently seeking Personal Care Workers with experience in Home & Community Care, who are willing to travel to client homes to provide care, to join our friendly and professional team.

Our clients located in ­­­­­­­­­­­­Inner Eastern Suburbs:

Knox council suburbs - Bayswater, Boronia, Wantirna, Rowville, Ferntree Gully and surrounding council suburbs which includes:

  • Whitehorse (Mitcham, Nunawading, Vermont, Forest Hill)
  • Maroondah (Ringwood, Croydon, Heathmont, Montrose)

You will be friendly, caring and resilient. A true professional who genuinely wants the best for your clients. 

You will bring the following

  • Minimum of Certificate 3 in Aged Care/Individual Support or Home and Community Care or Cert IV Disability, Bach/Dip of Nursing or completed first-year study towards it.
  • Current minimum Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Recent Police Check specific to working with vulnerable people (within 3 months) or be willing to get one through us
  • Own roadworthy vehicle and valid Australian Drivers’ Licence (please note, International Drivers’ Licence is not accepted for this role)
  • Your own smartphone (either Android or Apple)
  • Good verbal and written communication and basic computer skills required
  • 2 doses of Covid-19 Vaccine (mandatory)
  • Medication training will be highly regarded
