An exciting new opportunity exists to join us as the Head of People & Culture Operations, reporting to the Chief People Officer. This role will see you working collaboratively with leaders and the P&C team to develop and deliver solutions across a range of areas including; P&C strategy, recruitment, talent management, performance management, change management, organisation design, strategic workforce planning, industrial relations, OH&S, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and remuneration and benefits. 

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive knowledge and evidence of contemporary human resources practices and strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in People & Culture leadership roles
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in progressive People & Culture roles with a focus on Operations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to coach and mentor at all business levels
  • Ability to take a strategic concept through to implementation
  • Confidence, forward thinking and strong communication skills
  • Strong experience in change management
  • Analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources management

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading People & Culture Operations to provide efficient and appropriate delivery of services and support
  • In consultation with the Chief People Officer, develop and implement a strategy and operating plan for the People & Culture Division
  • Establishing an ongoing process of workforce planning to support business growth
  • Acting as P&C representative on various project teams across the bank
  • Influencing and building relationships with key stakeholders to position P&C as a trusted advisor to the business
  • Leading the Diversity & Inclusion strategy and drive this program of work
  • Developing and implementing effective change processes to support the people strategy
  • Building strategic thinking into the organisational design model to ensure ‘fit for future’ organisation architecture
