• 36.5 hours per week over 5 days (Monday – Friday)

BABI has a rare vacancy for a Housing Program Manager in the Specialist Youth Homelessness Service (SYHS) Team.

This position would require you to be responsible for managing all aspects of housing program management, team leadership, and supporting Service Staff (case workers, property/tenancy and Intake and caretakers) to deliver high quality professional services to youth at risk of homelessness and empowering tenants to successfully sustain their tenancy. Your work would be in accordance with service agreements, program guidelines and BABI’s organizational policies and procedures. A knowledge of SHIP, QHIP and Chintaro databases would be advantageous.

Experience and knowledge in working with at-risk young people and young families at risk of homelessness is essential. If you are a highly organised and motivated person with experience in the Youth and the Housing Sector and possess strong leadership and program management skills, this job may be perfect for you.

The position is permanent part-time and paid in accordance with the Queensland Community Services and Crisis Assistance Award – State 2008 (TPEO) at Level 6. The position requires you to work 36.5 hours per week over 5 days (Monday- Friday).
