We work alongside people and families who need personalized support due to disability, ageing, or mental health experiences. Our work is entirely community‑based, which means support happens in people’s homes and out in the community rather than in a centre or facility.
This hands‑on role includes personal care, domestic assistance, and community access support. Opportunities are available across Bull Creek, Willetton, Cannington, Canning Vale, Gosnells, Thornlie, Kelmscott, Armadale, Harrisdale, Byford, Belmont, Rivervale, South Perth, Como and Victoria Park.
We provide all the training you need — all you bring is a positive, can‑do attitude and a willingness to learn. This is meaningful work where skills, reliability, and genuine compassion make a real difference.
Availability is essential, as we have a variety of shifts that need consistent coverage. Preferred if applicants can work either early mornings, or evenings on some days.
Hours of work start on 10 hours per fortnight guaranteed and you gradually work up to close to full-time hours if desired.
To be considered, you will need a minimum of 3-4 days availability to help cover shifts across the week, including weekends.
People enjoy working at Avivo because we value the different life experiences, skills, and backgrounds of our diverse workforce.
We encourage applications from people with disability, First Nations peoples, LGBTQIA+ and people from all culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
