HELP Resources aims to provide a responsive and inclusive hub of information, resources and services to support social and economic development, sustainable livelihoods, and continuing education of citizens, communities and CBOs in the East Sepik Province. HELP Resources is like most local NGOs, heavily dependent on securing donor funding to deliver its services. As long as the organisation is small, most donors will not contribute to the core funding/institutional development of the organisation. This results in core staff being limited in numbers and remuneration levels. It also means reduced self-determination and flexibility in the organisations operations. HELP Resources wishes to explore opportunities for establishing a social enterprise arm that can generate additional funds and greater flexibility without jeopardising HELP’s core functions. The social enterprise would need to be viable, ethical and manageable from its Wewak base, and should not require any significant investment. It should provide products and services that are complementary to HELP Resources core purpose and values and of benefit to the local community.
Allowance: $18
No living allowance as working from home
