About the Role

​Join our dedicated team at the Autism Association as a part-time Quality & Safeguarding Advisor. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for investigating NDIS reportable incidents, managing the reporting of restrictive practices, and coordinating our Restrictive Practice Quality Assurance Panels.

You will also play a key role in implementing client feedback strategies and contributing to service development to ensure we meet compliance standards and drive continuous improvement. The role is for a 7-month contract to cover a period of parental leave.

About You

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a client-centred approach to join our Quality & Safeguarding team.

In this role, you will ideally have:

  • Proven ability to conduct thorough and detailed investigations, applying best practices to uncover and address issues effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS Q&S framework, practice standards, and PBS framework, including reportable incidents and restrictive practices.
  • ​Strong report-writing abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • ​Strong operational and organisational skills to manage multiple competing and projects simultaneously
  • ​Proficiency in analysing data and identifying trends relevant to compliance and quality assurance.   
  • ​Knowledge of strategies and methods for continuous improvement in service delivery and compliance​ 
  • A Degree Qualification in the area of social science, science, law or management is preferred but relevant experience will also be valued.

To join our team you will be required to get the appropriate clearances including an NDIS Workers Check.
