The Australia Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN) is looking for a Political Engagement, Campaigns & Media Lead to join our small staff team to advocate and campaign for justice for Palestinians. The role leads APAN’s campaigns, advocacy with Government and politicians of all parties and media engagement.

APAN is a national network of organisations and thousands of individual Australians who seek justice, freedom and equality for Palestinians. APAN works to bring a greater understanding of the realities of the human rights abuses perpetrated against Palestinians and advocates and campaigns for the Australian government to adopt policies that will support Palestinian rights to live in dignity, justice and freedom.

The Political Engagement, Campaigns & Media Lead is employed for 32 hours per week. The role requires some flexibility and some after hours or weekend work. The role is employed under the SCHADS (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry) Award, level 4 – 6 (depending on skills and experience).

Location of this position is flexible.
