This is a special and unique leadership role in Australian civil society. It’s an amazing opportunity for you to bring people together and build their capacity in order to accelerate systemic change in climate, human rights and social justice causes.

  • Melbourne based, $150K and 9.5% super

The Executive Director will be thoroughly committed to our mission, and is likely to have 10+ years’ experience driving social change, including:

  • Organisational leadership: As a CEO or very senior leader growing a medium-sized nonprofit organisation (preferably not only as founder), including leading staff and working with a board
  • Expertise in capacity building: Driving initiatives that build capacity, skills, or alignment in the non-profit sector
  • Multi-issue orientation: Working in organisations across a range of sectors; or in an organisation across intersectional/multiple issues; or as manager of a diverse coalition
  • Fundraising: Raising sizeable philanthropic grants or support
  • Mobilising people and resources: Driving or overseeing community engagement that results in a high level of constituent engagement and/or revenue. Direct experience of and credibility in advocacy work is expected
