We have an exciting new opportunity with the Australian Childhood Foundation within the new Knowledge Mobilisation and Practice division.

The Australian Childhood Foundation (the Foundation) is an established leader in the development and delivery of high-quality and well-respected learning and development opportunities, consultancy services as well as the creation of innovative tools and practice guides across our Education Services, Centre for Excellence in Therapeutic Care (CETC) and Parenting and Early Years.

As a Registered Training Organisation, the Foundation delivers blended learning methodologies in delivering both accredited and unaccredited training programs and ongoing professional development. This can include online and self-paced programs and courses, webinars, virtual classrooms, train the trainer and in-person customised training.

The Australian Childhood Foundation is transforming the way that our training, knowledge mobilisation, capacity building, and business development services are delivered. This new strategic division-Knowledge Mobilisation and Practice-will strengthen our impact, build capability both internally and externally, and drive sustainable growth.

About the Role

The Support Officer, Education and Training will play an integral role in the Knowledge Mobilisation and Practice (KMP) division. This new role focuses on providing administrative and logistical support for learning and development offered by the KMP division as well as support for Safeguarding related online courses. The role will work closely with the broader Foundation's digital platforms, systems and processes to ensure that all stakeholders who engage with learning through the KMP have a positive experience that is responsive to their needs.

This is a full-time and permanent role with hybrid and flexible working arrangements available.

As our Support Officer, you will:

In this dynamic role, you'll coordinate and support diverse training offerings such as virtual classrooms and on-demand courses, ensuring smooth communication between organisations, students, and trainers.

Your responsibilities will include managing the customer experience, handling enquiries, scheduling, invoicing, and setting up courses within our learning management systems including AXcelerate and Cloud Assess.

Additionally, you will troubleshoot system issues, compile training feedback, support data entry, and oversee the effective operation of our student management systems and learning platforms. This role will be critical in supporting a seamless and impactful trainer and student experience.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in administrative roles, ideally within the education or child and youth services sectors.
  • Proficient in the use of online learning management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in the use of customer relationship management platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Experienced in the use of payment gateways such as eWay.
  • Strong with organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent with their communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work sensitively and confidentially with students and staff.
  • Knowledgeable about the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) guidelines or willing to learn.
  • A holder of a current Working with Children Check or equivalent.
