About the role:

As Recruitment Officer, you will act the Brand ambassador for both internal and external stakeholders, coordinating the recruitment of our roles and as well as provide first level of support for the HR team.

You will play a role helping us to attract, keep, and grow teams across Australia.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you'll support the key elements in an employees lifecycle, including:

  • Active Coordination of End-to-end Recruitment - working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will coordinate advertising, writing Positions Descriptions, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, liaising and providing feedback to all applicants.
  • Onboarding - generation of onboarding documentation, including contracts, supporting new employees and setting them up for success.
  • General HR support - management of shared email inbox, meticulous HRIS database management, compliance support.
  • Off-boarding - closing chapters in an efficient and effective manner, leaving no stone un-turned.

You will play an important role in the delivery of employee experience at Australian Childhood Foundation.

In order for you to succeed, you will need (Key Selection Criteria):

We're looking for those with potential, you may not completely fulfil the criteria below, but if you're highly organised, have excellent administrative, have had some experience in recruitment, we'd like to hear from you.

  • Administrative experience and have worked in a similar environment/industry.
  • You will have demonstrated experience and/or exposure to recruitment.
  • Tertiary education is a bonus but not required, either a Certificate IV in HR, Business administration, or in a similar relevant field
  • Getting technical! - it's advantageous that you have previous technical exposure to HRIS systems (such as SAGE), or information systems/workflow programs (such as Monday). Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite is important.
  • You can quickly understand HR concepts, polices and procedures - you are comfortable to ask questions to seek further clarification.
  • Highly organised - you thrive on managing your work in proactive, 'circling back', 'tying up lose ends', 'efficiency' are part of your everyday vocabulary, and know how to manage competing deadlines in order to provide effective support.
  • A star communicator - you are comfortable to have conversations with range of stakeholders, great interpersonal skills and likes to build trusting relationship with deep positive influence.
