About the Opportunity:

As the IT Applications Business Analyst you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the ACF by effectively analysing business needs, managing IT applications, and facilitating their integration. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that IT solutions align with organisational objectives, improve operational efficiency, and drive positive impact.

The position is responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in business analysis techniques, IT project management, application lifecycle management, technical aptitude, requirement elicitation and analysis, solution evaluation and selection, change management, and documentation management.

About You (Key Selection Criteria):

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-year's experience in business analysis and IT project management.
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of IT systems, applications, and databases.
  • Strong requirements elicitation, analysis skills and modelling using BPMN.
  • Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create comprehensive and organised technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong team skills and collaborative approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and responsively in a dynamic environment.
  • A current Australian driver's license or equivalent.
  • A current and valid Working with Children Check and National Police Records Clearance.
