About you

You are someone who understands how search engines work but you don't blindly accept the status quo. You understand that search engine algorithms change, and what worked last year, may not work this year. You can help drive our SEO offering forward, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to creating and delivering great digital marketing experiences for our clients.

While we love helping people grow their skills, this role isn’t one for juniors to step into. We're after someone specialised in their discipline but with complementary skills that can help them demonstrate leadership in different ways. For example, you’ll have the autonomy to develop our SEO offering, but you’ll also be setting a strong example for others to learn from.

You enjoy and have experienced, working in a multidisciplinary team. Bringing your craft to this team and finding ways to contribute and add value is important to you - plus, it's the way we love to work. The job in 55 words or less

  • Create and deliver successful SEO campaigns.
  • Develop and improve our SEO offering to help generate more value for our clients.
  • Work within our multidisciplinary team of copywriters, developers, and designers to improve the work we do.
  • Stay on top of industry changes to ensure our clients stay ahead of the game.
  • Impress clients through engaging communication of your recommendations.

Does this sound like you?

  • You have at least four years' experience working in SEO.
  • Your SEO experience covers both long-term SEO work and also major website redevelopments.
  • You understand what outreach is and can provide examples of successful campaigns.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have a thorough understanding of how different web technologies impact search.
  • You can talk confidently to clients and colleagues about the pros and cons of different SEO tools and techniques.
  • Flexible working is part of our DNA, but you are available to work onsite from our Melbourne office and remotely.

You get extra credit for

  • Being both Google Analytics and Google Ads certified.
  • An ability to handle spreadsheets like a maestro
  • An interest in writing, teaching and public speaking.
  • A track record of working with WordPress.
  • Experience running search and display Google Ads campaigns
  • Experience running social media ad campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
