Audiology Australia is the peak professional association representing audiologists in Australia. Established in 1968, it has a current membership of over 3,000 audiologists representing approximately 95% of the profession.
Audiology Australia’s mission is to provide leadership in the science and practice of audiology through advocacy, education and networking. We enable audiologists to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care.
Audiology Australia provides professional accreditation for audiologists. Professional accreditation by Audiology Australia is a requirement to provide audiological services that fall under Medicare, the Hearing Services Program, state and territory work cover schemes, as well as many private health insurance funds.
The profession of audiology is self-regulating, and Audiology Australia strives to help our members achieve the highest standards when delivering services to their clients.
You will be part of a small team based at the National Office in Cremorne, Victoria.

Audiology Australia is a leading advocate for improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander hearing health and has undertaken initiatives to raise awareness of and advocate for the hearing health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander led health initiatives.
As part of its commitment, Audiology Australia is now developing its first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) – a Reflect RAP. The RAP will be a strategic document that formalises Audiology Australia’s commitment to reconciliation and outlines practical, measurable outcomes that will help us work in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and drive our contribution to reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which we operate.
This is a 3 year 0.6 FTE fixed term position, reporting to the Advocacy and Policy Manager at Audiology Australia
The primary purpose of the position is to support the development, coordination, implementation and monitoring of Audiology Australia’s RAP.
This role will manage the RAP project, develop required project materials as well as support the working group that will be providing advice on this project.
