Audiology Australia is the peak professional association representing audiologists in Australia and its purpose is to open up the world of ear and hearing healthcare for the wellbeing of all. Established in 1968, it has a current membership of over 3,500 audiologists representing approximately 95% of the profession.
The profession of audiology is self-regulating, and Audiology Australia strives to help our members deliver the highest standards of contemporary hearing health care through professional accreditation, education, professional development, policy and advocacy and networking and collaboration.
The primary purpose of the Policy Officer position is to support strategic policy and advocacy initiatives at Audiology Australia through the development of submissions, position statements and stakeholder engagement on matters that are crucial to the profession of audiology and hearing health care more broadly. This role will also help support the implementation of policy initiatives under the new Strategic Plan 2023-2028.
This is an ongoing 0.8 FTE position, reporting to the Advocacy and Policy Manager.
