As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team the Communications Officer is expected to personally contribute to the shaping and achievement of ATSICHS Brisbane's vision and goals within their own scope. The Communications Officer will provide three (3) key functions.
Role Functions
The Communications Officer will assist with the development and implementation of a broad range of marketing and communication initiatives across ATSICHS Brisbane's programs, services, projects and events. They will write, edit and produce internal and external content as well as assist with the development of digital and social media initiatives to ensure maximum market reach. They will also be responsible for coordinating the Young, Black and Proud Scholarship program and creating engaging content on ATSICHS Brisbane's internal platforms MOBnet and Yammer.
Organisational Contributions
The Communications Officer will provide event management support to the Marketing and Communications team. They will assist with the delivery of key events and work with ATSICHS Brisbane's programs and services to plan and implement health and wellbeing and promotional campaigns. They will also be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of ATSICHS Brisbane's calendar of events.
Contribute to the Development of a Flourishing Team
Support fellow staff in a team environment to build collegiality and a sense of belongingness within the team and ATSICHS Brisbane family. Staff will actively participate in team activities and contribute to a flourishing workplace culture that promotes the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long-standing Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation.

We are the largest, most comprehensive Aboriginal Medical Health Service in Queensland.
