The WA Branch of the Australian Services Union has a vacancy for a highly motivated person to join our team as an Industrial Organiser.

Working within an industrial team, our Organisers work to develop workplace Delegates and grow membership to achieve good results in the industries we represent by encouraging people to join our union, establishing and supporting union networks, and running campaigns in the workplace.

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of trade unionism and/or community activism, have excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of written and verbal communication skills.

Experience as an active workplace Delegate would be highly regarded.

In return the successful applicant will receive an excellent remuneration package:

• 13% superannuation
• Monthly RDOs
• 15 days personal leave
• Additional days at Easter and Christmas
• Company vehicle available for private use
• Starting salary between L1 $84,024 and L3 $93,369

A current WA driver’s license is required. Inter-state and extensive intra-state travel may also be required. We will negotiate competitive salary packages to attract suitably qualified, experienced and skilled applicants.
