Assistance Dogs Australia (ADA) is a growing and globally respected not-for-profit organisation that values its team members and is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Major Gifts Executive to join our Philanthropy and Fundraising team and play a key role in supporting our fundraising strategy.
ADA breeds, trains and places assistance dogs with Australians in unique situations. We currently specialise in support for people with a physical disability, autism or post-traumatic stress; as well as providing a range of services to these individuals and their families.
Our assistance dogs provide independence, self-esteem, improved health and relationships to individuals and families – resulting in stronger and more successful communities.
In this newly created role as the Major Gifts Executive, you will be an integral part of our Fundraising & Philanthropy team.
Key responsibilities in this role will be engaging and stewarding major donors to achieve our strategic goals and intent. This includes but is not limited to, mid-value and major donors, donor engagement activities and events.
You would report directly to the Fundraising & Philanthropy Manager.
You will be able to demonstrate success in a similar role and be motivated and enthusiastic with a natural drive for fundraising. You will also bring a strong and authentic nature in your ability to build relationships.
Assistance Dogs Australia are proud to be an inclusive workplace that reflects our clients and the broader community that we serve. We are always committed to providing a work environment in which everyone is included, treated fairly and with respect.
ADA Organisational Values: Client Centred - Collaborative - Ethical - Trustworthy - Forward Thinking - Inclusive.
If these values resonate with you, we could indeed be the place for you?
