About the Role:

The Supporter Experience Telefundraiser will engage with existing and inactive donors to build strong relationships, update them on our work, and encourage them to increase or reactivate their donations. This is a Casual role will also support the Community & Events team in stewarding event hosts and participants, as well as assist in outbound and inbound calling campaigns.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Engage with donors through phone calls to thank them, provide updates, and encourage increased or reactivated donations.
  • Support the Community & Events team with donor stewardship and onboarding calls.
  • Assist in other outbound and inbound calling campaigns as required.
  • Provide administrative follow-up to donors via phone, mail, or email.

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet KPIs and targets.

Desirable:

  • Experience in direct marketing, fundraising, or customer engagement.
  • Lived experience of seeking asylum or knowledge of asylum seeker challenges in Australia.
