Founded 20 years ago, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is Australia’s largest human rights organisation providing support to people seeking asylum. We are an independent not-for-profit organisation whose programs support and empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well being. We champion the rights of people seeking asylum and mobilise a community of compassion to create lasting social and policy change.

The role involves leading strategic efforts across multiple media channels to address critical issues and reshape discussions regarding asylum seekers. Working closely with the Head of Refugee Leadership and Advocacy, you'll develop and execute dynamic campaign strategies focused on inclusivity, with the goal of changing perspectives and advancing specific policy goals. By utilising creative approaches and building partnerships, you'll engage and mobilise communities across online and offline platforms.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Campaigner to join our team.
Lived experience of seeking asylum in Australia is highly desirable.
Knowledge of policy and issues impacting on people seeking asylum in Australia as well as previous experience working within a not-for-profit environment, would also be advantageous.
