About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated stars to join our team in the role of Horticulture Services. Summerland Farm is looking for a Team Leader that is available to work across our Macadamia Dehusking and Fruit Packing businesses. This role will see you:

• Effectively fulfil day to day operations of Fruit Packing and Macadamia Dehusking
• Establish positive team relationships that facilitate cooperation and collaboration, reflecting our values and producing effective team results
• Builds positive relationships with our external business customers, suppliers, and contractors, promoting Aruma's and Summerland Farms reputation through excellent customer service
• Develop and grow from on-the-job training and formal training opportunities

Essential Criteria

• A demonstrated commitment to Aruma's Code of Conduct
• A practical understanding of WHS requirements
• Sufficient physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental requirements of the position
• A current Australian driver's license
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
• A confirmation record of COVID-19 vaccination (doses 1 & 2)

Desirable Criteria

• Demonstrated experience in supervising employees and/or teams
• Qualifications and /or experience in horticulture, particularly Macadamia Dehusking or Fruit Packing
• Experience using automated production machinery, processing, dehusking or warehouse operations
• Previous experience working with people with disabilities
