We are seeking a Systems Trainer/Instructional Designer to support Aruma's commitment to supporting and serving customers through the delivery of critical business systems training to organisational wide staff. The role also supports the improvement of business and operational processes through the ongoing analysis of processes as they relate to systems and approaches to improving process efficiencies. This role is a 6 months FTC starting ASAP

What success looks like…

  • Deliver targeted systems training for complex and broad software applications across NSW, QLD and VIC that is consistent, powerful, and positively received
  • Contribute innovative and flexible systems training approaches and resources to suit various audience types, to support positive ongoing adoption of system knowledge and application
  • Design, develop and deliver engaging eLearning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and knowledge transfer in the workplace
  • Ability to understand software applications, functionality, and processes
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and SMEs in identifying training needs and developing training content and collateral to support meeting those needs
  • Lead and/or contribute to process improvement initiatives in support of Transformation projects, relating to Systems Training and/or business processes and systems improvement
  • Work collaboratively with Change Lead and Project SMEs and provide training related input to change management outcomes Systems Trainer Success Profile 2
  • Support local change champion and super user networks to implement training effectively across a wide range of roles and regions
  • Work closely with fellow System Trainers as a collaborative team to deliver training to a wide audience across regions

Essential skills:

  • 5+ years direct (field based) training and facilitation experience - new systems implementation
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
  • 2+ years' experience in instructional design with instructional technology, such as Articulate Storyline, developing eLearning modules
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems e.g. LMS365, ELMO, TalentLMS etc.
  • Experience delivering training remotely via video conferencing systems or Skype / Microsoft Teams / Zoom
  • Experience training in Finance business processes
  • Basic knowledge in Finance processes
  • Strong administration skills; time management, coordination of tasks
  • Sound understanding of systems, functionality and supporting processes and ability to translate technical functionality into business specific training
  • Adaptive training style and approach to support training audiences with varying computer and English literacy levels
  • Excellent communicator with confident, articulate Facilitation and Presentation skills, and able to adapt to multiple audiences
