Reporting to the People Partner, and working as part of a small and dedicated advisory team, the People Advisor supports the leadership and management teams in a fast paced portfolio to ensure Aruma's HR policies, processes and practices are implemented in line with our values. You will focus on forming positive working relationships with stakeholders, and providing advice across a wide spectrum HR matters.

What success looks like...

  • Successfully advising the Operations team on the full gamut of people issues, with a strong ongoing focus on assisting the team with recruitment.
  • Sound, accurate and timely advice was provided in the areas of workforce planning, employee onboarding, performance management, award and agreement interpretation, employee relations, reward and recognition, retention, and talent identification
  • Working collaboratively across the People, Learning and Workforce community of Aruma, promoting a culture of best practice and continuous improvement
  • Fostering a collaborative relationship with stakeholder groups whilst managing needs, expectations and competing priorities
  • Working collaboratively across the People, Learning and Workforce Community, promoting a culture of professional collegiality

Your success will be underpinned by:

  • Strong HR Advisor experience in a fast paced environment and high levels of personal resilience, action orientation and drive for results
  • Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including delivering presentations and facilitating group work
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and be solutions focused
  • Qualifications in HR or similar field is preferred
