About the role

We currently have multiple Residential Support positions available in our TAC Programs.

In this diverse role, you will be:

  • Supporting individuals that have high complex support needs and require intensive support to maximise their independence
  • Be responsible for providing quality personal care, therapy support and community access
  • Work collaboratively with treating teams and allied health professionals
  • Work in accordance with arbias’ values and funding requirements

Mandatory requirements

  • Availability to work across a 24/7 roster, including morning, evening, sleepover or active night shifts
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in the provision of services to people with a disability and, in particular, people with an acquired brain injury, complex care needs, dual diagnosis and behaviours of concern
  • Experience in providing direct support to individuals who require a high degree of personal care support and physical assistance to complete activities of daily living
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication
  • First aid level 2
  • National Police Check
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence

Certified Training in:

  • Personal care & infection control
  • Manual handling
  • Bowel management and catheter care

Qualifications

Completed Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Health & Community Services, Disability or equivalent with a willingness to develop further knowledge in the areas of Acquired Brain Injury, Justice, Alcohol & Other Drugs, Mental Health and Dual Diagnosis
