The position

In this position, you will mentor and support the East Metro, South West and Pilbara roles within the Child, Youth and Family Services team. The role requires the ability to perform client facing services whilst guiding and developing team members professionally, enhancing their capacity to deliver outstanding, safe and quality services to clients.

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):

  • Performing client facing services, including counselling and support, advocacy and workshop facilitation
  • Facilitating operational planning processes and guiding and developing team members within your team to ensure contractual requirements are met
  • Providing reports and facilitating budgeting

About You

This role will require the ability to work one evening shift per week (11:30am to 7:36pm)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Tertiary Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work
  • Minimum of 3 years counselling experience
  • Current Drivers license

Candidates will also either have or be willing to obtain the following:

  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
  • Working with Children Card
  • Current First Aid Certificate
