Duties include:

• Prepare and serve meals
• Use hygiene practices for food safety
• Participate in safe food handling practices and safe work practices
• Transport and store food
• Clean kitchen premises and equipment
• Working functions and events
• General customer service
• Work effectively with others in a team 

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen
• Driver’s licence and vehicle preferred but not required
• Interested and eager to commence a long-term hospitality cooking career
• Ability to juggle study commitments and full time work
• Be keen to learn and develop your skills as an apprentice
• An ability to work within a team environment and to take instruction
• Possess organisational and time management skills
• Ability to juggle study commitments and full time work
• Proactive, with a positive attitude
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including early starts and late finishes according to a rotating roster, as well as weekends

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Apprentice Chef, you will complete a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery whilst gaining valuable skills and industry experience in a supportive and positive environment. This entry level role is suitable for candidates that are eager to commence their careers, whilst working alongside a dedicated team.
