Student Life operates under the leadership of the Registrar. The Student Life mission is to facilitate a high-quality student experience by providing services that promote and support admission, academic progression, graduation and student integrity (Operations Group), Health, Counselling and Wellbeing (Personal Services), financial support, outreach and equity, careers and employment (Community Services) and program administration and credentialing services (Student Credentials Group).
The Student Disability and Accessibility Team facilitates the inclusion of students with disabilities in their programs and the broader University community by negotiating reasonable adjustments and coordinating the provision of support services to these students across all Griffith campuses as well as students studying at through Griffith’s Digital Campus.
This is a fixed term, (12 months), full time position primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7 range $89,384 - $96,838 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $104,579 - $113,300 per annum.
As a member of the Student Disability and Accessibility Team you will:
Students with disabilities includes those living with any physical, neurological, sensory, intellectual, learning disability or mental health issues. It also includes any long or short term medical condition (e.g. cancer, broken bones).
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. special education, education, human services, occupational therapy) with relevant work experience.
