ANU has an international reputation for its research and education in health and medicine. Its work includes discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy.

The ANU College of Health and Medicine (CHM) comprises the Research School of Psychology, the ANU Medical School, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the Research School of Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.  

ANU CHM has embarked on a project to increase the impact of the University’s offerings in health and medicine at the local, national and global levels.  Working in consultation with the College Executive, the Stakeholder Engagement Manager will identify opportunities to promote the College’s education and research portfolios, building on existing relationships with government and other external stakeholders. They will respond to new engagement opportunities and manage strategic partnerships on behalf of the College.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record working in or with government to identify  strategic partnership opportunities and building mutually beneficial cross-sector relationships. They will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, with an ability to communicate with impact and influence to promote the interests of CHM and ANU.
