About the Role:

The position leads and is responsible for all service matters for our client. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position is an integral leadership position, actively contributing to the successful implementation of our client’s strategic objectives. This includes responsibility for ensuring the delivery of superior service standards focused on quality of life, highly effective quality systems, demonstrated person-centred outcomes, financial viability of service provision, and compliance with all other relevant legislation and regulations.

The position is responsible for the direct supervision of 4 Managers who all make sure the needs of the clients are at the centre of our client’s service delivery. The successful person must have the ability and willingness to travel throughout the Perth Metropolitan region on a regular basis.

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have the following:

  • Substantial experience and knowledge of the community sector (e.g. legislation and regulatory compliance (such as the National Standards for Disability Services)
  • Extensive experience in managing and developing high performing, outcome focused teams
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and clients
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual and report writing and problem solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of financial management and budgeting principles
  • Demonstrated high level of commitment to individualised, person-centred service delivery
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of IT applications

Competencies:

  • Contribute to evidence-based strategic decision making
  • Advise on service gaps, emerging trends, and future opportunities
  • Manage business performance and operating budgets
  • Report and advise on financial and operational service performance
  • Ensure OSH, training, performance, staffing, and succession planning processes are in place
  • Demonstrated support and contribution for OSH Committee and safety culture
  • Ensure risk management and quality assurance programs are in place
  • Be responsible for proactive engagement with clients and other stakeholders
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with allied organisations to benefit clients and their stakeholders
