About the Company:

Our client is a non for profit organisation that provides service to supports individuals with disabilities in the Perth Metro and the Wheatbelt of Western Australia to achieve their goals and aspirations. About the Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the Regional Manager will be responsible for managing a team of three direct reports to contribute to our client’s purpose through leadership and management of staff engaged in delivery of lifestyle and employment services.

The successful applicant will be required to manage and oversee the day-to-day management of the region and maximise opportunities for our client to be a preferred provider of services that empower individuals to achieve their goals.

A sound knowledge and understanding of NDIS and the National Standards for Disability Services is essential. In this role you will need to be able to create and maintain networks and professional relationships with key stakeholders, manage funding requirements, increase income, and provide effective management support to enable staff to succeed. In addition, you will ensure services are compliant and are able to provide high quality services designed to safeguard client dignity, safety, and respect.

Job Requirements:

To be successful for this position it is essential that you possess the following:

  • Relevant qualification or commensurate professional experience
  • Experience in planning and facilitating support and services to people with disabilities
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of NDIS and of the National Standards for Disability Services
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, staffing requirements and resource allocations
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and encourage, motivate, and lead others
  • Ability to develop innovative and create solutions for difficult situations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and apply these in a diverse range of stakeholders

Clearances:

You will also need a National Police Clearance check not less than 6 months old, Working with Children Check, Valid WA ‘C’ class driver’s license, full working rights to work in Australia and referee checks.
