What’s the job?

The role exists to provide the leadership team with oversight of the implementation and maintenance of all aspects of clinical and community services developing partnerships with key stakeholders, managing risk and operational efficiencies.

It is expected that this role will lead transformational change of a clinical practice framework that will build a framework that supports the development of teams and systems that emphasise accountability, autonomy and promote continuous improvement in professional practice and delivery. This role is project specific and is fixed term.

What we need from you:

  • Demonstrated commitment to the organisation’s Purpose and Principles;
  • Demonstrated experience in Clinical Governance;
  • Demonstrated expertise in the implementation of a Clinical Governance Framework across a multi-disciplinary organisation;
  • Preferred experience as a practitioner in disability or aged services, or equivalent other experience;
  • Tertiary qualification in either psychology, occupational therapy, nursing or a relevant discipline;
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex needs associated with ageing and disability such as spinal cord injury, autism, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury and multiple disabilities;
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred practices;
  • Knowledge and understanding of issues relating to the provision of disability services and aged care services;
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading projects preferably within the Community Sector or demonstrated ability to assume the key responsibilities required to manage the various projects;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative as well as able to work co-operatively as a member of a professional team;
  • Must hold a current Drivers Licence.
