About the Program

Anglicare NT’s NDIS Support Coordination services are designed to support participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with their NDIS plans. Our Support Coordinators assist participants in various ways to assist them to understand their plans, choose preferred support options, and arrange assessments.

About the Opportunity

As a Support Coordinator you will assist NDIS participants to access service providers of their choice and coordinate their informal and mainstream supports. Coordination and support will vary within the role from more basic level coordination to more specialised support coordination for people with specific higher-level needs.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualifications in Mental Health / Disability Services / Community Services / Allied Health or similar
  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and the role of an NDIS Support Coordinator
  • Knowledge of the range of services available to people with a disability and demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing individual plans
  • Previous experience in a Support Coordination role or a relevant transferable skill set
  • Demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, communities, staff and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations.
