About the role:

St Martin's Residential Aged Care Home located in Taigum is seeking casual Support Services Workers (Kitchen) to assist the cook/chef in the preparation and serving of meals for residents. This role is also responsible for the cleaning of designated kitchen utensils and areas, in accordance with the prescribed cleaning schedule. The Support Services Worker (Kitchen) role, in conjunction with other roles in the facility, encourages physical and social independence, supports a safe home-like environment and safeguards the dignity and privacy of residents.

About you:

  • Current National Police Check
  • Current Flu Vaccination Certificate
  • Current Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance - as required
  • Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) or relevant (desirable)
  • Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including working on weekends and public holidays as required.
