Our Permanency Support Program (PSP) in Foster and Kinship Care provides therapeutic care to some of our region's most vulnerable families.

About the Role

As a Case Manager with our Permanency Support Program, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive, permanent outcomes for young people in our care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with cultural competence within Aboriginal families and communities
  • Building relationships and networking with Aboriginal service providers
  • Following case management principles to collaborate with children, young people, families, and Care Teams to assess, develop, implement, monitor, and review plans

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum diploma qualification in Community Services or related discipline.
  • Experience in the child and family sector.
  • Knowledge and experience working alongside Aboriginal communities.
  • Strong communication and cultural competency skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously while maintaining trust-based relationships.
