About the role:

The Corporate Services Team provides administrative support throughout Anchor. Key responsibilities of the team include Financial Management, Administration, Reception, IT, Property Management and shared responsibility for Payroll with People and Culture.

In this role you will primarily support the Management Accountant in the preparation, examination and analysis of accounting records, budgets and financial statements, as well complete bank reconciliations, month end journal positions, prepare balance sheets and complete payroll related processing.

What you will be doing day-to-day:

  • Preparation and processing month end journals.
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Payroll checking and accounts reconciliation.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and year end-auditing.
  • Support the Accounts Payable function, as required.
  • Management of corporate credit card – WEEL.
  • Assist with the grant acquittals process.

What we are looking for:

To be successful you will need the following qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, be newly qualified or working toward CA/CPA.
  • 3-5 years accounts experience.
  • Proven month-end and year end processing experience.
  • Knowledge of financial service processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel.
