Our head office is based in Ivanhoe however our service expands all over Melbourne.

Job Summary:

The Scheduling Coordinator will ensure that Support Staff are rostered to meet client needs and deliver quality services under the NDIS and Quality and Safeguarding Framework requirements. The role entails forward planning for a full weekly and forntightly roster cycle and day to day filling of shifts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all rostering enquiring and duties
  • Develop and maintain employee rosters that meet the operational needs of the client and comply with the NDIS standards
  • Coordinate employee availability with the needs of clients (communicating via phone calls, text messages, face-to-face, or email)
  • Communicate schedule changes to clients in a timely and effective manner
  • Monitor hours worked by support workers to ensure they are working within the scope of the industrial relations obligations
  • Meets deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy including a strong focus on quality of work
  • Maintain and update client information on relevant systems
  • Build, generate and run reports as requested
  • Collaborate with Management to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Be available for occasional out-of-hours work as needed
  • Assist with data entry and project-based tasks during the initial months of commencement (Change of rostering systems)

To be eligible for the position:

  • High school certificate or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related field is a plus
  • Proven experience in rostering, scheduling or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A criminal record check completed within the last 3 months must be supplied
  • Experience with ShiftCare is highly favourable, but not essential
  • MUST have excellent computer skills (including email etiquette and resource development)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • You must have permanent working rights with no restrictions.

Interview process:

This selection process will involve two rounds of interviews to assess your skills and experience. All interviews will be held in person at our Office.
