We are currently looking for a Full-time Dementia and Aged Care Consultant to join our team to perform a key role in speaking to clients. You will be responding to all enquiries ensuring every call results in a service resolution. This is an opportunity to utilise your skill set with an education component as well as the helpline management.

Based at Upper Mt Gravatt, this role will bring to action Alzheimer's Qld commitment to all clients, families and communities to ensure various services are implemented through communication to all relevant stakeholders. We are ideally looking for a Clinical all-rounder with Dementia knowledge, business acumen and ideally some exposure to the Aged Care industry and education.

You will contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of professional development activities and provide support to nursing staff both internally and externally. Vital to your success will be your ability to provide an innovative range of training programs and workshops to facilitate learning.

Responsibilities include:

• Answer and respond to enquiries in a compassionate and professional manner to identify client care service requirements
• Give advice and assistance concerning Alzheimer's disease and Alzheimer's Qld's services over the phone
• Collaborate and refer information to relevant division to ensure a positive and supportive client experience
• Answer and manage requests/enquiries from clients and collect relevant details
• Communicate concerns or issues to the relevant departments and take action as required
• Follow up on client care requirements to ensure they are met with the correct client care
• Be able to manage a sales pipeline, to ensure your enquiries are being followed up with the relevant internal stakeholders

We are looking for:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing or health related industry
• Registration APHRA or Social Work or equivalent body (or some other relevant experience and aged care knowledge)
• Highly developed clinical and communication skills
• Has a proven track record in developing and delivering health related education
• Work collaboratively to develop and maintain educational programs and contribute the ongoing success in this area
• Obtain a National Police Check
• Hold a current Australian Opens Driver Licence
• Willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
