Novo Education Space is an independent Special Assistance School for Years 9-12, registered with the NSW Education Standards Authority. Based in Wollongong with additional campuses in the Shoalhaven, our purpose is to provide learning opportunities which foster the development of capable, confident and self-assured young people who are connected to their community and able to forge a path to a productive future.

We have a permanent, part-time (25 hours/week) Administration Officer position based at our Wollongong Campus, commencing as soon as possible in Term 1, 2023. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm during term weeks only. Personal, annual and other leave entitlements apply, and unpaid leave applies during school holiday periods. We are able to average your weekly salary across all 52 weeks of the school year so you are not without pay during non-term weeks.

Who are we looking for?

You will have a strong values-base for the work you do as an administrator which aligns with Novo Education Space values and the way we work in our self-reflective community of practice. Experience in a not-for-profit organisation or school will be highly regarded.

Your exceptional administration skills include:

  • High level MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience with desktop publishing programs, databases or student/client management systems;
  • Reception experience, customer service and interpersonal skills, including problem-solving, compassion, discretion and patience;
  • Working effectively in a busy and demanding environment, maintaining responsiveness to people alongside attention to detail with admin tasks.
