Remote / Work from Home
The Campaign Coordinator plays a pivotal role in advancing ALCA’s mission to scale up nature protection, stewardship and restoration across Australia. Working closely with the Policy and Communications Teams, you will coordinate and deliver strategic campaigns that influence decision-makers.
Key areas of focus include campaign planning and delivery, advocacy and government relations, stakeholder engagement, member and public mobilisation, and supporting campaign contribution across ALCA’s network.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes by building public support for land conservation priorities, coordinating member and stakeholder engagement, and helping drive policy change. The role requires a collaborative and proactive campaign professional who can bring people together around shared goals, identify opportunities to maximise campaign impact, and work across a diverse network of member organisations, partners and stakeholders.
You are a passionate and motivated campaign professional with a strong commitment to environmental conservation. You bring experience delivering public engagement or campaigns, along with a solid understanding of the Australian political landscape and the role of peak bodies in driving change. You’re an excellent communicator and relationship-builder, are skilled at bringing stakeholders together and building collaborative partnerships, and can effectively translate complex issues into clear and compelling recommendations. You combine strategic thinking with strong project management skills and can manage competing priorities all the while delivering high-quality outcomes.
The Australian Land Conservation Alliance is the peak national body for nature conservation. We exist to scale the protection, management and restoration of nature. We unite and represent organisations actively caring for nature on private and non government land. As a peak body, we amplify their collective voice and impact and shape the conditions that make their work powerful and enduring.
We are a small, flexible and nimble organisation. Working with ALCA represents a unique opportunity to work across a broad and diverse sector implementing meaningful policy change, driving investment and building sector capability that will have lasting impact for nature. See www.alca.org.au
