What We're Looking For

Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to make a positive impact and a compassionate approach towards individuals with disabilities.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.

Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each participant.

Minimum 12 months experience as an NDIS support worker, and have a good understanding of NDIS code of conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals in South West Sydney. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

1. Community Access Support: Assist clients in accessing their local community, participating in social activities, and building a sense of belonging.
2. In Home Support: Support clients in developing their skills and attending to tasks at home (including personal hygiene and grooming, household and domestic chores, booking and attending appointments etc)
3. Independent Living Skill Development: Help individuals acquire and enhance essential life skills, promoting greater independence and self-sufficiency.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Cert III or IV in Disability Support Work or similar qualification
• NDIS worker’s screening check
• Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
• Australian drivers licence
• Working with Children’s Check
• Current first aid certificate & Current CPR (annual)
• National police check
• Relevant NDIS Orientation modules
• Fully vaccinated (COVID 19)
