The Association of the Graduates in Early Childhood Studies (www.agecs.org.au) supports vulnerable children and their families through the early childhood profession. The AGECS achieves this by providing professional learning opportunities and grants, mostly in Victoria. AGECS began almost 100 years ago and now operates as a charity. AGECS requires a qualified Bookkeeper, as a consultant.

LOCATION:

The AGECS Bookkeeper will be working remotely from their own premises.

HOURLY RATE:

$60 - $70 per hour (excluding GST) negotiable on experience. Average 10 hours per month with some periods of the year that are busier than others.

Key selection criteria:

  • Qualified bookkeeper registered as BAS Agent with Tax Practitioners Board.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting system.
  • Experience with bookkeeping non-cash income sources including shares and hybrids/fixed interest securities.
  • Attention to detail with an ability to identify errors and find solutions to problems.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver to agreed specifications.
  • Respectful and professional communicator.

desirable:

  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.
