About the role

As a Senior Psychologist with Afford you will provide direct, person-centred psychology services to a small caseload of clients, and clinical supervision to psychologists within our national Allied Health team. You will assist practitioners to manage a diverse NDIS caseload, provide assessment and intervention across a wide range of domains. You will advocate for clients, their carers and families to enable choice and decision making that supports independence and quality of life. 

About you

  • Degree in psychology and current, full registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 
  • Demonstrated clinical supervision of psychologists with varying levels of clinical competency
  • Endorsed at a specialist practitioner level within the NDIS PBS Capability Framework.  If endorsed at an advanced level, working towards specialist endorsement
  • Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience of the disability or other community service areas
  • Willingness for occasional interstate travel
  • Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence
  • Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations*
