ROLE PURPOSE

To assist the Operations Manager and broader team in the delivery of Embedded Generation and/or Distributed Energy Resource (DER) projects for our large customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate in conjunction with the Operations Team electrical works required for the installation of Renewable Energy Systems including Solar PV, Energy Storage, and Demand Management technologies
• Actively build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Undertake Single Line Electrical Drawings and submit to the relevant Distributed Network Service Provider (DNSP) for Embedded Generation pre-approval applications
• Scheduling and coordination of installation and maintenance teams in conjunction with the General Manager
• Liaise with relevant authorities to coordinate project delivery
• Ensuring system software management for ongoing reporting and maintenance
• IT – Basic Networking related troubleshooting and configuration.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

As a key member of the engineering team, you must be able to demonstrate:

• A positive, enthusiastic attitude with excellent communication skills
• Initiative, accuracy, attention-to-detail and outcome-focus
• Basic knowledge of SCADA and Control Systems
• Interest in renewable, solar and sustainable energy

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Degree in Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical (advantageous)
• Experience with VBA for Macro Development in Excel (advantageous)
• Engineering Degree Required, preference given to Electrical Engineering.
