About the role

We have a great opportunity for an Occupational Therapist, working on either a full-time or part-time basis, responsible for providing high-quality client services through holistic clinical assessments and treatment programs built on restorative and reablement principles in the client’s home.

The role will also provide advice on the following:

  • Simple equipment prescriptions
  • minor and major home modifications
  • A proactive approach that includes fall prevention and manual handling education.

About you

You could be either a new graduate keen to get started in your career or an experienced professional looking for a new challenge.

You’ll need tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and experience in conducting assessments and working collaboratively with all parties involved to achieve positive participation and service outcomes.

Together with:

  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
  • Demonstrated experience, or a keen interest in working with the elderly, younger people who live with disability or people with dementia and their carers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage your caseload
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused style and approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, as well as a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and a safe driving record
  • A current NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccinations (including COVID-19 Booster)
