About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Program Coordinator to provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, proactively tender for new packages, and build stakeholder relationships with a focus on child outcomes and business sustainability. The Individual Support Services Program team collaborate to deliver bespoke support packages informed by each child’s needs and focuses on increasing the capacity of their support network to meet these.
This position is classified Level 7 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $110,913 - $115,538 plus super. We offer excellent salary packaging options which can significantly increase your take home pay.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide leadership, professional support, and quality management of the ISS program.
- Engage in line management responsibilities of ISS team members.
- Implement and monitor the use of a shared practice framework that includes assessment and evidence - informed interventions.
- Build the capacity of ISS team across the region to provide specialist assessment, interventions, and responses to address multiple and/or complex needs and;
- Design innovative responses that suit the needs of individual children based on best practice and contemporary research.
- Ensure individual package and program budgets and reporting meets all program requirements
About You
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services).
- At least five (5) years’ experience leading a multidisciplinary team in a similar program and environment.
- Highly developed knowledge of child protection issues and the child protection sector in Queensland.
- Experience and capacity to foster and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, partners and the community.
- Cultural awareness and an understanding of how to communicate and work effectively work families from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability and experience in managing multiple concurrent and consecutive budgets.
