A steering committee made up of relevant organisations in the Latrobe City local government area (LGA) have been successful in applying for a Local Drug Action Plan in addition to other Victorian Government funds provided to develop a local partnership to prevent harm from Alcohol and other drugs. The Local Drug Action Team (LDAT) program supports community organisations to build or extend local partnerships and develop and deliver evidence-based activities in the community.
The Latrobe LDAT Project Worker will be responsible for developing and implementing a concise plan for the wider member organisations. Working in the Latrobe City LGA, the LDAT Project Worker will coordinate and develop a sustainable strategy to support the delivery of the project.
This position will be offered on a part-time (0.5 - 0.6 FTE) basis, fixed term for ten months (with the potential of extension where funding permits).
