About the role

The Data and Technology team seeks to empower ACSO's business units to deliver high quality, life-changing services using digital and data services and technology and enable ACSO to influence public policy through data and analytics.

The Platform Owner - Business Systems is a key ongoing role responsible for the strategic leadership, technical governance, and continuous improvement of ACSO's core business systems, including the Case Management System (CMS) and ERP system (Finance and Human Resources Information System).

ACSO is implementing a new CMS Case Management System in 2025 to strengthen how we support our clients-enabling better outcomes through streamlined processes, secure data, and informed decision-making. The role will initially be tightly connected to the CMS Case Management System implementation project and then transition into a broader strategic ownership role across all business-critical systems.

What we're looking for:

• Demonstrated experience with more than 5 years leading software applications, systems, products or as an Agile business analyst, or equivalent, with associated knowledge and understanding of business process engineering, data modelling and interpretation and software systems implementation.
• Experience and certifications with the PEGA platform and associated framework and/or with the TechnologyOne finance and HR modules is highly advantageous
• Relevant tertiary qualification and relevant certifications in Agile, DevOps, ITSM or ITIL
• Proven experience in platform ownership, system administration, or ICT leadership roles, managing business-critical systems such as finance, HR, case management or CRM platforms.
• Strong understanding of system integration, access management, data governance, and IT service management principles.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, system configurations, and upgrade roadmaps in cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with Victorian and national regulatory frameworks related to data protection, finance, HR, and information security (e.g., VPDSF, ISO 27001, Australian Privacy Principles).
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic oversight with operational detail, across multiple stakeholder groups and departments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate across business and technical teams.
